ABCDLSD
by Johnny-Ray
I've got a crutch in my basement
She's chewing out the copper wire.
She's swallowed every lock and key
and is building a tinfoil empire
Defiled on all surfaces
and plastic to hide the wear.
Slit on many crevices
floss to stitch the tear
ABCDL..S...D
what always seems to spell itself
in her alphabet soup.
she packs a toothbrush
for her last acid trip to Asgard.
to rest at home
as the goddess of a "good fucking high"
adrenaline must rush to meet her lonely heart
and shock her back to solemn beauty.
some more blush and she'd be perfect
hide those tobacco shards in her smile
and she'd be well enough for a picture
pulling the wrinkles out of her relapse.
I've got a crutch in my bedroon
she's gnawing at my neck.
and she's seemed to swallow all of me
she's my peace sign shaped trainwreck
