Love
Say what you will about it.
In truth, Love is a cruel coin toss
Heads: You find your soulmate, your true companion
Tails: You find...someone, In the end you're miserable, unfulfilled and empty.
Love is the greatest innovation of our evolution from the dawn of time to this very second. We all know how to love. The problem these days is that we are becoming more and more mismatched. Hence why so many marriages end in divorce, and kinships end in nothing at all. There are so many women for one man, and so many men for one woman, but that doesnt make it possible to have our cake and eat it too. One or two of those people may be right for you. You'll never know. Believe it or not, I am advocating the emotion. I really am. Love has dealt me some doozies. Love has even brought me self-destruction....but love has given me light into who is really out there. Whether they can be mine or not. Love has given me close family, Love has given me best friends, and love has even showed me how perfect a person can be that every emotion couldnt squeeze enough words out to properly describe it. The wrong love has made me miserable, and the right love has rendered me speechless.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is...
When it comes to love...
Gamble it all, man
Put your heart on the table
because as far as you know
you may get dealt the best hand you've ever had
and trust me, I know how it feels.
Don't get me wrong,
there will be losses
there will be tears
but you take a lesson with you
You take in the experience
Love is a many splendored thing
and it's changed my entire life.
