Five Leaves & Fuzzy Shapes
by Johnny-Ray
These fuzzy shapes hurt my eyes
and my eardrums ring so surprised
to hear the world is going to end
The plastic burns with the drugs
turning grown men into slugs
Cthulhu calls in my head
a thousand cigarettes fly by
my heart is broken a few times
The levee in my brain breaks
The panic spills to my feet
I can't bear the sound it makes
I smother it with the gridlocked streets,
My mind reeks of American history,
Syphon it out of me!
I obsess over false flag mysteries,
and the depths of the sea.
The living dead are in my driveway
they were here just the other day,
it's okay, they keep the spiders at bay
we just hang out and watch T.V.
they share amusing anecdotes with me,
sometimes I don't want them to leave.
Why am I thinking
of the things I am dreaming?
I found a five leaf clove
I threw it with the others
I met you in your backyard,
and we burned them together.
